Lucky Crab Stitch Earrings - crocheted in transparent plarn plied with Kyototex Silver Radiant Yarn

Originally, I simply wanted an outline of a circle for the motif ofmy earring. But I ran out of silver radiant yarn, so I had to innovate. I twisted the remaining chains al sl stiched the last crab stitch to the first. It worked well!

This motif works so perfectly as an earring, as well as a key chain or cell phone charm.

Like everything (almost everything) I crochet, these earrings are made with plarn. In this case, its transparent plarn plied with silver radiant yarn. Plarn is yarn derived from plastic bags. I wrote articles about the methods of making plarn and how to condition it for knit/crochet. You can find all my beautiful free patterns here.
