Goodbye my trusted tarn potholder! You've served me well and I'm sorry I wasn't able to save you from the mud... I am so saddened to lose you... You will be in my heart forever...

A friend from Ravelry, Mimi Alelis, sent me a lot of yarn, crochet thread and crochet hooks after I got affected by a HUGE flash flood last December 16, 2011. I didn't know what to do with them because I normally work with plarn and recently, sewing thread. So I looked around and thought of things that I can use.

A new potholder is really needed after my tarn potholder (see photo #2) got lost in the mud left after the flood.

I thought this new potholder would be as good as my tarn potholder. But its too thin, its only good for lifting lids off pots. So, I'm publishing it as a dishcloth pattern - a ONE-SKEIN dishcloth pattern.

I don't want it to go to waste because of the flood before I could put it to good use. Thanks Rhelena for leaving a comment.
